We are pleased to announce the 2010 W Cup match play event. We have scheduled a 2 day Ryder Cup style event against the Wilmette Men's Golf Club on Saturday, August 14, and Sunday August 15.

Format:  Better Ball of Pairs on Saturday at Winnetka, and Singles Matches on Sunday at Wilmette. Tee Times begin at 1:30 pm at Winnetka on Saturday and 12:30 pm at Wilmette on Sunday.

We will field a team of 20 players; 4 players from each of  5 handicap ranges based on August 1st revision. Note that these handicap ranges are slightly different than the Men's Club current ranges.

Championship: 0 to 5.9
A Class: 6.0 to 9.9
B Class: 10.0 to 13.9
C Class: 14.0 to 17.9
D Class: 18.0 and over

Tees: Championship and A Class play from Black tees at Winnetka and Wilmette.

B, C, and D Classes play from Blue at Winnetka and Gold at Wilmette.

Strokes are based on course handicap at each course.

Each club will host food and beverages after completion of play.

Team selections will be based on WinPoints from 2010, entry order and choice of playing day, and Captain’s selections.

The cost is yet to be determined.
